When Studiocanal prepared for the launch of Paddington in Peru, we were invited to create a playful and purposeful merchandise range that blended the charm of everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear with the cool of a stylish promo drop.
The Brief
Create a standout collection of promotional items that would appeal to both kids and adults, while celebrating the adventurous spirit of Paddington in Peru. The merchandise needed to be vibrant, family-friendly and eco-conscious.
The Drop
Our custom collection included:
- Bucket Hats – Designed in both adult and kids’ sizes, these hats featured the signature Paddington red with an embroidered logo, perfect for days on the beach or exploring the urban jungle.
- Stainless Steel Carabiner Bottles – Rugged, reusable, and ready for the wild — complete with a printed movie logo and handy clip for backpacks or beach bags.
- Plantable Colouring Pencils – Eco-friendly and interactive, each set of coloured pencils came with a plantable seed capsule, turning creativity into sustainability.
- Temporary Tattoos
- T-Shirts – Organic cotton tees printed with the Paddington movie title — bold, bright and built for sun-drenched adventures.
The Impact
The merchandise roll-out created a splash, adding colour and character to the film’s release campaign. Families loved the mix of practical gear and playful extras, giving the collection standout appeal.
